Avatar dethroned!

As of today, sunday night, Avatar's reign at number 1 domestically was crushed. Newcomer Dear John ruled through Super Bowl Sunday. According to The Wrap, Dear John racked up approximately 32.4 million domestically. Although this slowed Avatar's pace, it still ruled number 1 at the foreign box office, taking in an estimated 76 million dollars. Avatar's pace should be significantly slowed by next week's openers, Valentine's Day and The Wolfman. Avatar is expected to drop to third place next week. Projected top five, (1)Valentine's Day, (2)The Wolfman, (3) Dear John, (4) Avatar, (5) Percy Jackson and the Olympian's.
