As of Friday, Avatar registered an estimated 6.5 million dollars. Its biggest competitor, Dear John, looks to claim the number 1 title this weekend though. It's estimated to reach 35 million, which is higher than what was expected by Relativity Media. It took in approximately 13.6 million as of Friday. Keep a lookout through Monday morning, this could be the end of Avatar's reign at number 1.
