Industry News

Flashforward co-creator David S. Goyer is stepping down from his position of showrunner. He has decided to pursue more writing and directing along the feature side of the industry. I wish the best of luck to him.

Henry Winkler most known for his Fonzie days will be the newest edition the the cast of Royal Pains. He will be playing a swindling widowed father.

Sony has thrown its hat into the ring for the rights to the Terminator franchise. Lion's Gate was previously bidding for the rights. The total numbers are due Friday.

Sequels have begun to get underway for Enchanted, Fast and the Furious, and Angels and Demons.

The Weinstein Co. have acquired the rights to "The Tillman Story" based off the famous football player who left his rich lifestyle behind to go and fight for his country.

Chris Sparling, scribe of Buried, sold another spec titled ATM. This will be about three friends who go to the ATM and end up in a fight for their lives.
