  1. Interesting script, very quick read (I love the vertical writing style), and I like the concept of "micronaps."
    I want to see this just for Jackie Earle Haley's take on Freddy Krueger.
    I saw that Harry Knowles over at AICN is catching ten kinds of hell for liking it. That poor guy can't catch a break...

  2. I havent read it yet. Did they use the dual dialogue? I heard mixed reactions ti the movie. Believe it or not Ive never seen the original.

  3. Yeah, there's a scene in the hospital where they use dual dialogue (everyone's talking over each other).
    I haven't seen the original in years. From what I remember it's your typical '80s horror film.

  4. Yea I like that too. I talked to this script reader though about it (just in general) and he said most of them hate it, especially if its not meant to be talked over one another. For example in the blacklist script LA Rex, the writer uses to fit about 150 pages into a 120 page script.

  5. Yeah, they did go a bit overboard with that in LA Rex. I bet that would drive you nuts if you were a reader.

  6. Yea I read half of it and after the first 15 pages or so you got use to it, but it took you twice as long lol
