JUDD APATOW DAY

Today is Judd Apatow day. For those of you who don't know, Judd has helped revolutionize comedy. He has pushed the levels of rudeness, sexuality, and humor to a whole new level. If you don't believe me watch The 40 Year Old Virgin or Knocked up. He wrote directed and produced those two along with the recently released Funny People.

Judd as a high school student would work to get interviews with top comedians and interview them on his radio station. After graduating high school he moved on to USC but dropped out after two years. He worked on the Ben Stiller show in the 90's and and won an Emmy. He also helped create Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared, both cult followings.

Along with his writing/directing career he has grown as a producer. He is one of the biggest comedy producers in Hollywood and is growing bigger everyday. As of now he has 10 projects in development, 2 in production, and one completed; the soon to be released Get Him to The Greek (supposedly this is a sequel to forgetting Sarah Marshall).

So, to Judd Apatow, thank you for all the laughs through the years. And to everyone else, enjoy!
